The library subscribes to these online databases, which provide an array of full-text journal, magazine, and newspaper articles for your research projects and papers, as well as images, sounds, music, and more for educational use.
Passwords for off-campus access are available in the library. Come in and pick up the bookmark that lists them.

Proquest
Proquest is a database that provides full-text access to over 4000, journals, magazines, and newspapers and abstracts for over 3000.
Wilson Web OmniFile Full Text
Wilson Web is a database which contains full-text from 1600 sources, including art magazines and journals.
ABI/INFORM Business Research
Excellent resource for business research, including company information, marketing, finance, industry & more.
Newspaper Search
Search Proquest Newspaper database for full-text news articles from many US Newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, & more.
eLibrary
Search for transcripts of selected shows. ELibrary contains newspapers and magazines, but no scholarly journals.
GreenFILE (free open web resource)
Information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond. Links to open source full-text articles.

Image Databases
Getty Images & Footage
High-resolution stock photography and stock footage from Getty. You must read and sign an agreement to receive the username and password. Access those documents here.
Every Stock Photo
This site federated searches across Flick, Stockxchg, MorgueFile, and ImageAfter for images you can freely use. You can see the image dimensions on the search page, and you can create collections of images. Each image has its license agreement appended to it, so you can see exactly how you may use it. You have to sign up for this resource, but it is free.
Search Creative Commons
The Creative Commons provides digital content creators with a way to add copyright permissions on top of their regular copyright. Many CC licensed images are available for commercial purposes and can be modified. These licenses generally state that you should give credit to the orignal content creator, and should post your work online under the same license. About Creative Commons Licenses
Morgue File
Free high resolution images for personal or commercial use, under this license. You can filter your search by size, color, geotag, and more. From the site: The purpose of this site is to provide free image reference material for illustrators, comic book artist, designers, teachers and all creative pursuits.

Oxford Art Online
Online version of the Grove Dictionary of Art and also Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, and Oxford Companion to Western Art.
Accessible only from AiPD campus computers, but available remotely through the Multnomah Public Library (must have a public library card).

Omnimusic Returns!
Omnimusic is back! Omnimusic is a database of stock music and sound effects. The username and password are not on the bookmark, but are available by email. Send the request from your student email address.
Worth Global Style Network NEW!! FULL ACCESS NOW AVAILABLE! You cannot use this u/p off-campus, as it is IP address authenticated. You will receive a username and password via your student email early in the fall quarter.
